Graduation Is The Goal Fund

100% of the 2010 LPGA Championship Presented by Wegmans Tournament net proceeds will benefit United Way's Graduation is the Goal Fund, which aids evidence-based programs that show significant promise in delivering on the graduation is the goal mission. The Graduation is the Goal Fund supports Hillside Work Scholarship Connection and other United Way funded programs that serve the growing number of children in our community at risk of dropping out of school.

The 2009 tournament proceeds totaled $250,000 to the Graduation is the Goal Fund.

Programs supported by the Tournament proceeds will provide:
  • Academic guidance
  • Social support
  • Mentoring
  • Job training
